Hi! I was wondering what are the most played goth songs at clubs/goth nights? I actually haven't had the chance to go to a goth club/night because the scene is literally non-existent here, and I was wondering if there are some recurrent songs.

I guess they'd choose the most danceable/funky ones, like.. this corrosion, snake dance, let's go to bed, whatever song from soft cell or depeche mode… but I can't imagine what else. Do they also play stuff from adjacent genres, as long as the vibes are similar? What song have you heard the most? Are there any songs you wish they'd play (more, if at all)?

Hi! I’m looking for any goth songs that sound big and grand and devastating. Something with a story or deep-seated feelings behind it that’s going to make me feel incredibly bad. A non-goth example might be a song like The Place Where He Inserted the Blade by Black Country New Road or Exit Music by Radiohead. Make me feel empty and awful. New Wave, industrial, etc recommendations also accepted 🙂

gfs birthday is coming up and shes goth, I got her this rly cool looking cd player but she only has like 1 cd so i wanted to burn her a couple so she could use it. dont want anything too obvious or mainstream i dont want it to look like i typed "goth love song" into google and saved the first 10 results. here are a few of the songs i already have :

Hello! So I'm quite fond of the concept of non-goth songs covered by goths, remade in goth spirit, in a goth way etc. kinda thing. I'm not certain of many, but for example:

• Rasputin – Disjecta Membra
• Walking In Light – Disjecta Membra
• I Wanna Be Your Dog – Mephisto Waltz

Anyone know of anything else in a similar vein? Oh, and while we're at it, it is in my best recommendations that you listen to Disjecta Membra because the NZ goth scene deserves more love.

This might be an odd request but can anybody recommend songs that would be good to do a strip tease or lapdance to, preferably with a female singer? I'm planning it as a surprise for my partner so it will be done in private, not like a burlesque performance or at a club but any songs you may use for burlesque might also work. Please understand I am not sexualising goths, it's just something personal I want to do and this is the music I like.

I'm revisiting Rosetta Stone and I'm loving "Tomorrow for us" and "Children of the Poor". Please suggest or upvote your fave Rosetta Stone or Miserylab tunes.
